About the Initiative
sKora and Juego Football, Two Sportstech Companies, are taking a huge step in trying to remove the barriers and challenges facing aspiring futbol players; players who feel that the dream of one day becoming professional is not for them and that they are not cut out for this journey. The initiative aims to inspire droves of people to play their part, show their support and donate. A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to help steer underprivileged aspiring futbol players on the right path towards their dream.
Using futbol as a way to bring people together and rally supporters around this cause is definitely the way to go. Moreover, the campaign involves keeping the mass audiences entertained and hooked by engaging them in a fun futbol challenge and getting them to watch the donations rack up. With this approach, we get to tap into human emotion in a positive and interactive way, while also shedding light towards this urgent and noble cause.
The Challenge
The PlayFutbol challenge is simple: You purchase the PlayFutbol shirt and fill out the form with your details. The same form gives you the option to fill out the details of the person you believe is deserving of this donation. If in case, you choose not to recommend someone for the donation, then the money raised will be passed on to another individual in need.
After making your purchase, you then film yourself wearing the shirt and juggling a futbol barefoot. Once you’re done juggling, you say out loud your “World CupTM Winner” prediction. Post the video on Instagram using the hashtag #playfutbolchallenge, tag @playfutbol and publicly nominate at least three friends or family members by tagging them in the comment section.
